I will be editing photos next week for the local photographer to learn her style. After that, I’ll be shadowing her at a few events, and working with her to help spread out the work load as far as editing goes. (She has two other assistants.)

And then after that… I’ll probably be working as an assistant. I’ll be helping her at weddings when she needs me, and sometimes second shooting. She said that she might eventually have me shooting on my own at events for the local university.

Basically… I’m extremely proud of myself right now for going for it and getting to meet her… and super excited for whats to come. Yay me.

And. Yeah. That’s all for right now. I just wanted to update those of you who read my blog about what’s going on. I’m gonna go watch 21 on the big screen. Woot woot.

I got an email from the photographer I contacted.

She wants to meet with me and see my portfolio.

I am currently dying inside from terror and excitement.
