Branden: What are you doing?
Me: I was going to blog.
B: About what?
Me: I don’t know, I don’t plan them.

It’s true. I don’t plan my blogs out. Generally I come in with a slight idea of something I want to say, and then I just… flow. lol. That sounds kind of gross. But. Yeah. I really just ramble most of the time.

I found a website that has like EVERY SEASON of desperate housewives. I. Am. In. Heaven. I can’t wait to start watching again. I’ve missed it. It’s such a great show. And, of course, SECRET LIFE comes back in January!!! I CAN NOT WAIT! I want to see what happens. And all the previews for the new season look great. Well, except for Amy looking like a complete douche when talking to her mom about who will take care of the baby. lol. I just wanted to punch her. Of COURSE it will be her responsibility. *eye roll*

Oh, and in case you were wondering, my Grandma passed away Saturday morning, around 4:30AM. I’m fine, I promise. It’s better this way. She was in pain because she couldn’t swallow her morphine, and they had to put her on a pump. The next morning she was gone. The viewing is Tuesday, and the funeral is Wednesday. I’m not going back to work until Friday. (My managers were surprisingly kindhearted. I really wasn’t expecting them to be so… open to giving me days off. That’s sad, but true.)

Anyway, I just wanted to post to say I’m not giving up on blogging. I’ve just been running back and forth a lot, especially with Christmas and all. I haven’t worked in almost a week. :| It’s going to be hell on my paycheck, but it was worth it to spend extra time with my family. And Spencer came to stay a couple days with me. Then she got grounded, so she had to go home. lol.

Well, I need to shower and get out of bed… because I’ve been sleeping all day. And I’m going to make Branden quit playing this stupid wrestling game and watch Eagle Eye with me! Rob got it and I WANT TO WATCH!

I’ve just been away from home this past month more than I’ve been away from home in the past two years, so I haven’t really had a chance to blog. I’ve been back and forth from Lafayette to Kokomo about a hundred times, slept in beds and on couches that weren’t my own. I’ve even slept in a recliner for a few nights. Why? Because I’ve been helping my family out. My grandma is still fighting, and they’ve taken on her care full time. I can’t do much, care wise, because it involves administering medications and such (there’s some I can do, and some I don’t feel comfortable doing, so I just generally leave it to my mom and aunts and uncle unless they ask for my help.) but I’ve been running my cousins to and from school, babysitting, etc. I’m kind of worn out, but I can’t complain, because my mom and my aunt have pretty been there nonstop from the beginning.

Anyway. I just wanted to let you all know that I’m not dead. lol. I’ve just been really busy. I’ve opened a new food blog, too, http://midnightsnacker2.blogspot.com/ . And you should definitely check it out.

I don’t really have a lot to say right now, I guess. I’m sorry I’ve been neglecting everyone. I miss you, I really do. I’m just… not in the mood to blog really.
