What are you gonna do, lick it?
This is a common thing I ask my dad. See, when I was little, he would take a q-tip, LICK IT, and then clean my ears with it. Traumatizing? You betcha. I can’t stand having ANYTHING wet near my ears. Early in our relationship, Branden would attempt to be sexy and lick my ear, which would usually result in me punching him. And then the mood was lost, lol.
So last night, when we were sitting around the kitchen table at my parents house (Mom, Dad, and I), my dad said something (I wish I could remember!), and my reply was “What are you gonna do, lick it?” My mom nearly spit her soup out, and we sat there for a good ten minutes laughing. I told them I’m going to ask the same thing at the wedding.
Anywho, a little while ago, Branden came in to the bedroom looking for the cat. Sometimes he hides under the blanket that we have covering our window (for extra insulation, it’s cold here!), and so I told Branden to look under there. No cat. And here it is, probably an hour later, and the cat just came out from under the comforter, ON THE BED. Yeah, the same one I’m covering up with… How did I not know he was there? His new thing is pouncing on random spots on the bed, mostly the fitted sheet since it’s a king size on our queen size bed (pillow top, a regular queen sheet is too small.), and then he’ll DIVE under the comforter and just lay there. So, imagine my surprise when he’s under there and I just didn’t know. lol.
I really need to take a shower, but I want to wait until about 9pm. I figure if I take one then, I won’t really need to take one tomorrow morning before I go get Katie. We’re going to Indy to look for dresses. It took me forever to find three stores and make appointments, but I finally did. (I was looking on google for some with better ratings.) Agh. Branden wants to watch a movie, so I guess I’ll just shower now and still take one in the AM. I should have showered earlier! Grr.
In which I fail miserably at being a good web-neighbor.
So, I’d like to take the time to thank a very special person. This person seems to ALWAYS comment my blog, even though I often forget to comment hers. She’s been a great web friend to me, someone I’d like to know more about and even get to know in real life.
Who is this wonderful lady, you ask? It’s most definitely, with out a doubt: Caitlin. ThatGirlCaitlin, you are a better friend than I deserve, thank you!!!
Other people worth mention, Terri, and Jonna, thank you too, girls, for going above and beyond when it comes to being good friends. <3
