Waiting, for the impatient.

We all know I’m one of the world’s most impatient ladies. I bitch and whine about shit not getting done fast enough, but usually only when it’s someone else supposed to be doing it. If it’s my turn to do the dishes? Hell yes they can sit in the sink until I feel like doing them! (You really don’t want to know how long that can be. I’m not going to tell you.) I can yell at Branden and tell him to be ready to leave by 3pm, but at 3:15 I’m still not dressed. There are just so many choices in my wardrobe, yaknow. Not.

So what am I doing this lovely Friday night? I’m sitting in the living room at the studio waiting on the guys to finish up with practice. (We’re at HomeTech Studio, Hoopeston, Illinois) They did one run through, then we went to Henning’s and got food. (I got cheese fries and dinner rolls. Had a carb craving, can you tell?) Then we came back and they’re doing another run through.  I’m so bored just sitting here, but I have a headache and I don’t want to be downstairs with all the noise. Not that it’s a whole ton better up here, but it’s not RIGHT IN MY EAR, lol.

Whatever. They will be done soon, and because Branden is exhausted from working all day and then praciticing all night, I get to drive home. And you know what that means? I get to listen to my ipod all the way home! hahaha. Because, well, Branden listens to his music really loud, so if he drove, I wouldn’t be able to hear my music through the headphones. Our noise-cancelling headphones are not working for some reason, even though they are brand new, so I we have to use regular ear buds, and they’re not really good for me to listen in the car. I’m half deaf, it just doesn’t work! But, since I’m driving, he can listen on the headphones with his ipod, and I can listen to my ipod through the radio and Transpod! Woot.

Tomorrow is Jaden’s 4th birthday party. (His birthday isn’t until Tuesday.) I can’t believe he’s FOUR already! Or, well, almost. My little nephew is all grown up. *sob* I was 17 when he was adopted, I feel kind of… old! I know I’m only 20, but still. I just feel like I’ve done a lot of growing up in the past few years. I’ve kind of had to, since I moved out on my “own.” (Living with two other people doesn’t really count as on your own, especially when you don’t pay rent. lol.)

Anyway, I’m going to go find something to distract me until the guys get done. They’re playing Enter Sandman right now. I think that means they’re almost through the set! Woohoo!
