Duke Energy, you are sucking out my soul…
One bill at a time. Or, as it seems, TWO bills at a time. We got one the other day from our OLD apartment. Yeah, that one we haven’t lived in for over a month now? Haha, that one. Why in the world did the apartment complex NOT put it back in their name? We had no idea that it was up to US to call and cancel service, since.. well, we’ve never moved out of a place like that before. (The last time we moved we just transferred service, not canceled.) So now we’ve got a bill for $76 coming out this week, and I guess we also have another coming out for $87 NEXT week. Which fucking sucks, because that’s shutdown time at B’s work, and we’ll be living off unemployment. So… not much money.
We have to go to our old place today to see if they’ll make a back payment on the month that we didn’t live there, since we didn’t KNOW to have the electric shut off. And quite honestly, we didn’t have time to think about it. It took us forever to get the electricity turned on in our names at the new place, and then the gas company wouldn’t let me apply in Branden’s name, even with all his personal information… like… I know WHY, because of identity theft… but it’s annoying.
Ugh, I’m just so frustrated, because these two bills can really set us back and we have a TON of stuff to do for our wedding. Lots of stuff is already paid for, sure. But most of what’s left is stuff that WE have to buy. No one helping us out with it. Grr.


















Aw hun paying the bills is such a huge hassle, I know. I hope you are able to sort it all out and get it all organized. There’s enough to deal with without having to worry about stupid bills getting all messed up. *hugs*
