My life. To my loan company. So that I can be free. lol.

Today was such a shit day. I’m not going to go into it now, because I don’t want to get upset like I was earlier today, but we’ll just say that not a lot went how I wanted it to. And things got effed up. And I cried a lot. A LOT. And I’ve had a total of 3 hours of sleep today/last night, but I’m still wide awake right now? My body hates me apparently.

I’m also selling my old laptop (that needs a graphics card replacement) and my D40. Whyyyy would I sell my D40, you ask? Well, I’m getting the Pentax X70. It’s the least expensive mega-zoom P&S on the market right now. I was going to buy the Nikon P90, which has 24x optical zoom, 12MP, and shoots video. Then I realized that the “vari-angle” screen on it was just stupid, and the camera itself was overpriced as far as features go. So then I turned my sights on the Canon Powershot SX10 IS, which is 10MP and 20x optical zoom. This one also shoots video, and has a flip out screen so you can see yourself. Then I realized it was over priced as well! AND THEN, I found the holy grail of mega-zoom P&S’s, the Pentax X70. 12MP, 24x optical zoom, 720p HD widescreen video [MAIN SELLING POINT HERE.], VR shake reduction, and best of all, it’s under $350.

I will be able to upload awesome quality pictures, AND HD movies. Yay! And when you think about it, if I had spent the money on my SLR to get the same zoom ratio… I’d spend $5000+ on just a lens. With this camera, you get effective zoom from 24mm to 620mm. That’s ultra telephoto power, right there. I won’t ever have to worry about being too far away at a concert! lol. I am so excited about HD video, you have no idea. I just started working more on my youtube channel, and so having a high quality camera is going to be invaluable.

Hopefully someone buys my camera in the next day or two so I can go ahead and order my new camera. I’ll keep you all posted.
