I never really realized how quickly the threat of bad publicity gets these people to ACT. I received not one, but TWO calls. On a saturday! We're working it out now. Sadly it looks like the only option we can work with will increase our mortgage payment for the next year. But it's better than being without insurance!

Ughhh. Being a grownup sucks sometimes. I keep telling my brothers and sisters-in-law to enjoy their teenage years, when there's very little in the way of responsibility. It beats dealing with issues like this! We had a similar issue a few years ago when we purchased our car -- a misunderstanding/miscommunication that resulted in the state trying to say we didn't have car insurance, and of course our car lender started freaking out. But worst of all, they wanted to pin everything on US.

I am so sorry that you're dealing with this, and that this dickwad agent is trying to lie to make it out as though you're not communicating with him. Ughhhh. I hope you get somewhere with the exposure online.

It's unlikely. Our budget has no wiggle room right now, especially because I'm trying to save to apply for school. (I need $200 for that.)

All I can say is YOU GO, GLEN COCO. No, seriously, though. Good for you for not taking their crap. They sucked it up, they need to fix it.

Good luck! <3
